Maxpro 20 is a medication containing esomeprazole, which belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).

• Erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid)

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a rare condition where the stomach produces too much acid)  
• In combination with antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori infection

• Diarrhea  
• Nausea  
• Flatulence  
• Abdominal pain  
• Constipation  
• Dry mouth  

Maxpro contains esomeprazole, which is the S-isomer of omeprazole.Esomeprazole is considered to provide better acid control compared to racemic omeprazole.  

Important considerations:

• Maxpro 20 should be taken one hour before a mealon an empty stomach.  
• Caution should be taken with alcohol consumption while using Maxpro 20.  
• Inform your doctor if you have any liver problems, as dose adjustments may be needed.
• Long-term use of PPIs like esomeprazole may increase the risk of bone fractures, especially in the hip, wrist, or spine.
