Indication and Uses Gingobex 60 (Ginkgo Biloba) is used as a dietary supplement and is indicated for conditions related to blood flow and cognitive function:

Mode of Action Gingobex 60 works primarily by:
Inhibiting platelet aggregation and increasing blood fluidity by preventing Platelet-Activating Factor (PAF) from binding to platelets.
Reducing thrombosis (blood clots).
Improving cognition, memory, concentration, attention, and mood in individuals with cerebral insufficiency or dementia.
Dosage and Administration (Oral)
Adult Dose (Ginkgo Biloba 60 mg): 1 or 2 capsules daily, or as advised by the physician.
Child Dose: 1 capsule 1/2 times daily.
Administration: Administered only orally as advised by the physician.
Renal Impairment: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed. Consult a doctor.
Contraindications and Precautions
Bleeding Risk:Contraindicated in patients with bleeding disorders or known risk factors for intracranial hemorrhage. Stop taking the product at least 2 weeks before elective surgery.
Interactions: Use with caution in patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet agents (e.g., warfarin, heparin, aspirin) as it may increase the risk of bleeding.
Drug Interactions: May decrease the effectiveness of certain antidepressants (like fluoxetine and imipramine) and certain statins (like simvastatin and atorvastatin). Combining it with ibuprofen might increase the risk of bleeding.
