Z-Plex 

Presentation: Film-coated tablets containing a combination of B-vitamins and Zinc. Available in strips. Manufactured by The ACME Laboratories Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each tablet contains Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 5 mg, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 2 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 2 mg, Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 20 mg, and Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of deficiencies of Vitamin B complex and Zinc. Zinc is crucial for immunity, wound healing, growth, and development. B-vitamins are essential for energy release from food and maintaining healthy nerve and brain function.

Dosage & Administration: Adults and children over 30 kg: 1 to 2 tablets 2 to 3 times daily or as recommended by a physician. May be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. However, some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach upset. Allergic reactions are rare.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. In acute renal failure, zinc accumulation may occur, requiring dosage adjustment. Concomitant intake of tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics and zinc may decrease the absorption of both; maintain a 3-hour interval. Pyridoxine may reduce the efficacy of levodopa.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
