Indications: Indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and Vitamin D deficiency. Useful in managing osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, and hypoparathyroidism. Also aids in ensuring adequate calcium intake in deficiency states, elderly individuals, pregnant and lactating women, and those on certain medications affecting calcium levels. Serves as a supplement for bone health.

Dosage and Administration: Dosage is individualized. Usual adult dose: one to two tablets daily, preferably with or after meals to enhance absorption. Swallow whole with water. Pediatric dosage as per physician's direction. Follow prescribed dosage and duration.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Possible mild effects include constipation, stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting. High doses may rarely lead to hypercalcemia with symptoms like loss of appetite, increased thirst/urination, weakness, drowsiness, headache, palpitations, and bone/muscle pain. Discontinue and consult a physician if severe or persistent effects occur.

Precautions: Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, and severe renal impairment. Exercise caution in patients with kidney disease, hyperparathyroidism, malabsorption syndrome, heart disease, sarcoidosis, Crohn's disease, Whipple's disease, and diabetes/phenylketonuria (if formulation contains sugar/sorbitol). Avoid concomitant use of other calcium or Vitamin D supplements without medical advice. Potential drug interactions exist with thiazide diuretics, digoxin, tetracycline antibiotics, and phosphate binders. Inform physician of all current medications.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after expiry date.
