Presentation: Capsules, typically available in strips. Marketed by Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each capsule usually contains Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Lutein, Copper (as Cupric oxide), and Zinc (as Zinc oxide). Typical strengths are Vitamin C 60 mg, Vitamin E 30 mg, Lutein 6 mg, Copper 2 mg, and Zinc 15 mg.

Indications: Indicated as an antioxidant supplement to provide nutritional support for the eye, particularly for age-related eye disease. The ingredients are believed to protect the macula from oxidative and light damage and may reduce the risk of cataracts and age-related macular degeneration.

Dosage & Administration: One capsule, one to two times daily, or as directed by a physician.

Side Effects: Large doses of Vitamin C may cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances. Large doses of Vitamin E may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue, and weakness. Zinc salt side effects may include abdominal pain and dyspepsia.

Precautions: Contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Vitamin C should be given with care to patients with hyperoxaluria. In patients taking oral anticoagulants or estrogen, Vitamin E should be given carefullyas it may increase blood clotting time.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
