Tumpa 50 

Presentation: Tumpa 50 Tablet, available in Bangladesh, contains Tiemonium Methylsulfate 50 mg. 

Indications: Tumpa (Tiemonium Methylsulfate) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system. It is also used for the treatment of spasm and pain in urological and gynecological diseases. Specific conditions may include:

• Dysentery
• Diarrhea
• Gastroenteritis
• Biliary colic
• Enterocolitis
• Cholecystitis
• Colonopathies
• Spasm and pain in the urinary tract
• Spasm and pain in gynecological conditions

Dosage and Administration: The usual dosages for adults are 2 to 6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided doses as needed. It is recommended to follow your doctor's specific instructions.

Side Effects: The most common side effects of Tiemonium Methylsulfate may include hypotension (low blood pressure) and tachycardia (rapid heart rate) in certain individuals.

Precautions: Tumpa (Tiemonium Methylsulfate) should not be used in patients with urethroprostatic disorders involving a risk of urine retention or in patients with a risk of angle-closure glaucoma. Caution should be taken during the treatment of patients with disorders of the prostate, chronic bronchitis, coronary insufficiency, ambient hyperthermia, and renal or hepatic insufficiency. The risk of visual disturbances may make it dangerous to drive or use machines.
