Sperid 4 ODT (4 mg) Tablets: Management of Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Irritability in Autism

Description: Sperid 4 ODT contains Risperidone, an atypical antipsychotic medication. The "ODT" stands for Orally Disintegrating Tablet, which means it dissolves quickly in the mouth without the need for water. Risperidone works by affecting the levels of certain natural chemicals in the brain, such as dopamine and serotonin, which helps to improve mood, thinking, and behavior.

Indications:

• Schizophrenia: Treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents 13 years of age and older.
• Bipolar Disorder: Treatment of manic or mixed episodes of bipolar disorder in adults and children 10 years of age and older.
• Irritability associated with Autistic Disorder: Treatment of irritability in children and adolescents 5 to 16 years of age with autistic disorder.

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage must be individualized by a physician.
• Follow the prescribed dosage regimen carefully.
• Sperid 4 ODT is an orally disintegrating tablet.
• Place the tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve completely. No water is needed.
• Do not crush, split, or chew the tablet.

Possible Side Effects:
