Presentation: Each tablet contains 2 mg Risperidone.

Indications: Treatment of schizophrenia, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and conduct disorder in children and adolescents.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies by condition and age. For schizophrenia in adults, usual starting dose is 2 mg daily, may be increased gradually to 4-6 mg daily. For mania, initial dose is typically 2 mg once daily, may be increased. Follow doctor's instructions. Can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: Common: Drowsiness, insomnia, agitation, anxiety, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, increased saliva, extrapyramidal symptoms (e.g., tremor, stiffness). Less common: Dizziness, blurred vision, weight gain, increased appetite, fatigue. Rare: Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS), tardive dyskinesia, seizures, hyperglycemia.

Precautions: Inform doctor of heart problems, liver or kidney disease, diabetes, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May increase prolactin levels. Monitor for involuntary movements and changes in metabolic parameters.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
