Qutipin 25

Presentation: Each tablet contains 25 mg Quetiapine (as Quetiapine Fumarate).

Indications: Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder (manic and depressive episodes), adjunctive treatment for Major Depressive Disorder.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies by condition. Initial dose typically 25-50 mg once or twice daily, gradually increased based on response. Follow doctor's instructions. Swallow whole with water, with or without food. Do not stop abruptly.

Side Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, increased appetite, weight gain, constipation, increased cholesterol/triglycerides, orthostatic hypotension. Less common: NMS, tardive dyskinesia, hyperglycemia, seizures, cataracts, QT prolongation, suicidal thoughts.

Precautions: Inform doctor of heart, liver, kidney issues, diabetes, high cholesterol, seizures, low blood pressure, cataracts, NMS/TD history. Caution with CNS depressants. Pregnancy/breastfeeding: consult doctor. May cause drowsiness. Not recommended for children under 18 years unless specified.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
