Neugaba 25

Presentation: Each capsule contains 25 mg Pregabalin.

Indications: Treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve damage pain), as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures in adults, and for the management of fibromyalgia.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated.

• Neuropathic Pain: The usual starting dose is 150 mg per day, given in two or three divided doses. The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
• Partial Seizures: The usual starting dose is 150 mg per day, given in two or three divided doses. The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
• Fibromyalgia: The usual starting dose is 75 mg twice a day (150 mg per day). The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 225 mg twice a day (450 mg per day).

Take orally with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, difficulty concentrating, and swelling of arms and legs. Less common side effects may include feeling very happy, confusion, irritability, increased appetite, and shaking.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, heart problems, or diabetes. Use caution with alcohol and other medicines that can make you sleepy. Pregabalin may cause dizziness and drowsiness and can affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is recommended to stop the medicine gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
