Neubin

Presentation: Tablets containing a combination of Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride), and Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) in various strengths. The specific strengths may vary depending on the formulation available in Bangladesh.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment of Vitamin B1, B6, and B12 deficiencies, which can lead to neurological symptoms. It may be used in the management of neuropathies of different origins (e.g., diabetic neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy), neuralgia, neuritis, lumbago, sciatica, and other nerve-related pain. It can also be used as a supportive treatment in conditions like facial palsy and cervical syndrome.

Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is one to three tablets daily, or as directed by a physician. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably after meals. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the condition and the patient's response. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. High doses of pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) taken over a prolonged period may lead to sensory neuropathy.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Pyridoxine may reduce the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Exercise caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions to vitamins.

Storage: Store in a cool (below 25°C) and dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
