Myrica 50 is a brand name for a medicine containing Pregabalin as the active ingredient, with a strength of 50mg per capsule. 
It is manufactured by UniMed UniHealth Pharmaceuticals Ltd.  

Indications: Myrica 50mg Capsule is used to relieve pain caused by nerve damage (neuropathic pain) due to various conditions like diabetes, shingles (herpes zoster infection), spinal cord injury, and other nerve-related issues. It is also used to treat widespread muscle pain and stiffness in fibromyalgia. Additionally, it can be used in combination with other medicines to treat certain types of seizures (fits) and may be prescribed for anxiety disorder if other medicines are not suitable. 

Dosage and Administration: The usual starting dose is 150 mg per day, divided into two or three doses. Based on individual response and tolerability, the dose may be increased up to a maximum of 600 mg per day. It can be taken with or without food.  

Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness, dry mouth, swelling (edema), blurred vision, weight gain, and difficulty with concentration/attention.  

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems. Myrica 50 may cause sleepiness and dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Do not stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms.
