Mirtaz 30

Presentation: Each tablet contains 30 mg Mirtazapine.

Indications: Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

Dosage & Administration: The usual starting dose for adults is 15 mg or 30 mg once daily, preferably at bedtime. The dose may be increased gradually by your doctor, usually every 1-2 weeks, up to a maximum dose of 45 mg per day. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Very common: Increased appetite and weight gain, somnolence (drowsiness), dry mouth. Common: Dizziness, abnormal coordination, tremor, confusion, anxiety, insomnia. Less common: Orthostatic hypotension, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash. Rare: Mania, seizures, bone marrow depression.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, bipolar disorder, liver or kidney problems, heart problems, or glaucoma. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May increase the risk of suicidal thoughts, especially in children and young adults. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
