Indications:
Maxpro 40 Tablet is used for the treatment of:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
- Erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid)
- Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis
- Risk reduction of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers
- H. pylori eradication (in combination with antibiotics)
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and idiopathic hypersecretion
- Duodenal and gastric ulcers
- Acid-related dyspepsia
Dosage and Administration:

- Healing of Erosive Esophagitis:20 mg or 40 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.
- Maintenance of Healing of Erosive Esophagitis:20 mg once daily.

- Risk Reduction of NSAID-Associated Gastric Ulcer: 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.
- H. pylori eradication: Esomeprazole 40 mg once daily for 10 days, along with Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Initial dose of 40-80 mg once daily, adjusted based on response.
- Acid-related Dyspepsia: 20-40 mg once daily for 2-4 weeks.
- Duodenal ulcer:20 mg once daily for 2-4 weeks.
- Gastric ulcer:20-40 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.
Administration:
- Maxpro 40 Tablet should be taken at least one hour before a meal on an empty stomach.
- The tablet should be swallowed whole with liquid and not chewed or crushed. However, MUPS tablets may have different instructions, so always check the product leaflet.
