Lyric CR 82.5is a controlled-release tablet containing 82.5 mg of Pregabalin. 
It is manufactured by Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd.in Bangladesh.  

Indications:

Lyric CR (Pregabalin) is indicated for the management of:

• Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. 
• Postherpetic neuralgia(nerve pain following shingles).  
• As adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older. 
• Fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness). 
• Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury. 
• Anxiety disorders.

Dosage and Administration:

The dosage is individualized and determined by the physician.10 The starting dose is usually 165 mg once daily, typically taken after the evening meal. The dose may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerability, usually within one week, up to a maximum recommended dose of 330 mg once daily. Lyric CR tablets should be swallowed whole and not split, crushed, or chewed.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Pregabalin can include:

• Dizziness 
• Sleepiness (somnolence) 
• Dry mouth 
• Swelling (edema) 
• Blurred vision 
• Weight gain 
• Difficulty with concentration/attention  

Precautions:

Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems. Lyric CR may cause sleepiness and dizziness, so caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery.19 Do not stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Be aware of potential mood changes or suicidal thoughts and report them to your doctor immediately.
