Imovane 7.5 Tablet contains Zopiclone 7.5 mg. It is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic agent, often referred to as a "Z-drug," used for the short-term treatment of insomnia.

Indications: Imovane is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults, including difficulties with falling asleep, waking during the night, and early morning awakening. It should generally be used for periods of 2-4 weeks.

Pharmacology: Zopiclone belongs to a class of drugs known as cyclopyrrolones. • CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., erythromycin, clarithromycin, ketoconazole) which can increase zopiclone levels.
• CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin) which can decrease zopiclone levels.

Pregnancy and Lactation: Imovane is not recommended for use during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, as it may cause respiratory depression and sedation in the newborn. It should also be avoided during breastfeeding as it can pass into breast milk.

Storage: Store Imovane tablets in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
