Presentation:Each tablet contains Empagliflozin 25 mg and Linagliptin 5 mg.Available in strips.

Indications:Indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellituswhen treatment with both empagliflozin and linagliptin is appropriate.  

Dosage and Administration: The dosage should be individualized based on the patient's current regimen, glycemic control, and tolerability, not exceeding the maximum recommended daily dose of empagliflozin 25 mg and linagliptin 5 mg. The usual dose is one tablet once daily, taken preferably in the morning, with or without food.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include urinary tract infections, female genital mycotic infections, nasopharyngitis, and increased urination. Hypoglycemia may occur when used in combination with insulin or sulfonylureas.  

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment (eGFR < 30 mL/min/1.73 m²), end-stage renal disease, or dialysis, and known hypersensitivity to empagliflozin or linagliptin. Not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis. Use with caution in patients with moderate renal impairment, history of pancreatitis, heart failure, and risk factors for volume depletion. Assess renal function prior to initiation and periodically thereafter.

Storage:Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.Keep out of reach of children.
