Dicliz Plus 10

Presentation: Each tablet contains Doxylamine Succinate BP 10 mg and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride BP 10 mg. 

Indications: Used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Dosage & Administration: The recommended starting dose is one tablet at bedtime. If this controls symptoms, continue with one tablet daily at bedtime. If symptoms are not adequately controlled, the dose can be increased to one tablet in the morning and one tablet at bedtime. The maximum recommended¹daily dose is two tablets (one in the morning and one at bedtime). Take on an empty stomach with a glass of water. Swallow the tablets whole; do not crush, chew, or split them.

Side Effects: The most common side effect is drowsiness.

Precautions: Do not take if you are allergic to doxylamine succinate, other antihistamines of the ethanolamine class, pyridoxine hydrochloride, or any of the inactive ingredients in the product. Use with caution if you have asthma, increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma), a stomach ulcer, a blockage in the stomach or intestines, or problems with your bladder. Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other sedatives while using this medication as it can increase drowsiness.

Pregnancy & Lactation: This medication is specifically indicated for use in pregnancy to treat nausea and vomiting when conservative measures have been ineffective. Both doxylamine and pyridoxine are considered safe for use during pregnancy. It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk, so caution should be exercised when used during breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
