Indications:Calcin D is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency.It is used in conditions such as:

• Osteoporosis
• Osteomalacia (softening of the bones)
• Rickets (in children)
• Increased calcium and vitamin D requirements (e.g., during growth, pregnancy, lactation, and old age)
• Hypoparathyroidism

Dosage and Administration: The usual dosage is one or two tablets daily, or as directed by a physician. The tablets are usually taken orally with water, preferably after meals to enhance absorption and minimize potential gastrointestinal discomfort. Always follow the instructions on the product packaging or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Side Effects: When taken as recommended, Calcin D is generally well-tolerated. However, some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation, bloating, or stomach upset. High doses of calcium or vitamin D may lead to more serious side effects, including hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood).  

Precautions: Individuals with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria (high calcium levels in the urine), kidney stones, or known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients should avoid this product. Use with caution in patients with kidney disease or hyperparathyroidism. Vitamin D can increase calcium absorption, so caution is advised if taking other calcium or vitamin D supplements.Consult a healthcare professional if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications, as some drugs can interact with calcium and vitamin D.
