Boni M 15 Tablet

Presentation: Film-coated tablets, often available in a strip of 15 tablets. Manufactured by Delta Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each tablet contains Calcium Carbonate BP equivalent to 600 mg elemental Calcium and Vitamin D3 BP (as Cholecalciferol) 200 IU.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of calcium and Vitamin D deficiency. Used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, and hypoparathyroidism. Also used as a supplement to ensure adequate calcium and Vitamin D intake during pregnancy, lactation, and in elderly patients.

Dosage & Administration: Adults: Usually one tablet once or twice daily or as directed by a physician. May be taken with or without food, but taking with food may enhance calcium absorption.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Infrequent side effects may include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation, flatulence, nausea, or stomach upset. Hypercalcemia may occur with very high doses.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, severe hypercalciuria, nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), and Vitamin D toxicity. Caution should be exercised in patients with mild to moderate renal insufficiency, sarcoidosis, and those taking thiazide diuretics or cardiac glycosides. Calcium supplements may interact with certain medications; it is advisable to inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
