Indications:

Betanol (Atenolol) is primarily used to treat:

• It is also used to improve survival after a heart attack.

Dosage and Administration:

The usual starting dose for hypertension is 25-50 mg once daily. The dosage may be increased gradually by your doctor based on your blood pressure response. For angina, the usual starting dose is 50 mg once daily, which may be increased. The dosage for other conditions will vary.
