Overview & Composition

Acical-C (by ACI Limited) is a combined mineral and vitamin supplement available as an effervescent tablet.

• Active Ingredients:
  • Calcium Lactate Gluconate + Calcium Carbonate (1000 mg + 327 mg, providing conventional calcium)
  • Vitamin C (500 mg)

Uses & Indications

• Increased Nutrient Demand: Pregnancy, lactation, rapid growth (children/adolescents), and old age.
• Deficiency & Recovery: Treatment of calcium/vitamin C deficiency, infectious disease recovery, colds, and flu.
• Bone & General Health: Osteoporosis, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and postmenopausal symptoms.

Dosage & Administration

Always dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of water before drinking.

• Children (3–7 years): ½ tablet daily
• Adults & Children (>7 years): 1 tablet daily

Contraindications

Do not use if you have high blood calcium/urine levels, severe kidney failure, kidney stones, G6PD deficiency, or iron overload conditions.

Precautions & Interactions

• Drug Interactions: Consult a doctor if taking antibiotics (tetracycline), blood pressure/heart drugs (digoxin, furosemide), or iron supplements.
• Pregnancy/Lactation: Safe when used as directed.
• Diabetic Note: Contains sugar; account for daily sugar intake.
• Side Effects: Mild bloating or diarrhea is rare. Prolonged high doses may increase the risk of kidney stones.
