Vitamax-E 400 

Presentation: Softgel capsules containing Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate) 400 mg. Available in strips or bottles. Manufactured by Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each softgel capsule contains Vitamin E USP (as Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate) 400 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin E deficiency. May also be used as a dietary supplement and antioxidant. Some studies suggest potential benefits in cardiovascular health, skin and hair health.

Dosage & Administration: The usual daily intake for adults is one capsule (400 mg) daily, or as directed by a physician. It is often recommended to take Vitamin E with food for better absorption.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated at recommended doses. Large doses (over 1 gram daily) may cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea and abdominal pain.

Precautions: Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Vitamin E or any components of the formulation. High doses of Vitamin E may increase the risk of bleeding in Vitamin K deficient patients or those taking oral anticoagulants (like Warfarin). It may also increase the risk of thrombosis in some patients, such as those taking estrogens. Use with caution in individuals with bleeding disorders or those scheduled for surgery.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place below 30°C, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
