Vertina-DX Tablet (20mg/20mg)

Presentation: Each tablet contains Doxylamine 20mg and Pyridoxine 20mg. 

Indications: Vertina-DX is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Dosage and Administration: For adults, the recommended dose is for oral administration. Take on an empty stomach with water. Swallow the tablet whole. Follow your doctor's advice regarding dose and duration. Safety and efficacy haven't been established for children under 18.

Side Effects: Common side effects include dry mouth, constipation, lightheadedness, and drowsiness. Somnolence has been reported in more than 10% of users.

Precautions: Coadministration with alcohol and other CNS depressants may cause additive sedation. Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Vertina-DX. Vertina-DX may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not take it while breastfeeding.

Contraindications: Vertina-DX is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity and when used with MAO inhibitors.
