Thiosina 

Presentation: Tablets containing Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 100 mg. Available in strips. Manufactured by Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Thiamine Hydrochloride BP 100 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Thiamine deficiency, including Beriberi, Wernicke's encephalopathy, gastrointestinal disorders associated with Thiamine deficiency, alcoholic neuritis, and neuritis of pregnancy. May also be used prophylactically in cases of low dietary intake, impaired absorption, or increased Thiamine requirements.

Dosage & Administration: For mild chronic Thiamine deficiency, doses up to 30 mg daily in single or divided doses are recommended. For severe deficiency, doses up to 300 mg daily have been given. Dosage may be adjusted by a physician.

Side Effects: No untoward effects occur when Thiamine is administered orally in amounts many times greater than the therapeutic dose. However, rare serious allergic reactions may occur, including rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, and trouble breathing. Mild allergic phenomena like sneezing or mild asthma can be warning signs.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Thiamine. Caution should be exercised with repeated parenteral administration due to increased risk of anaphylaxis.

Storage: Keep below 30°C, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
