Setra 25

Presentation: Tablets containing Sertraline Hydrochloride equivalent to Sertraline 25 mg.

Indications: Treatment of major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxietydisorder (SAD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).  

Dosage & Administration: Adults: For depression and OCD, initially 50 mg once daily. For panic disorder, PTSD, and social anxiety disorder, initially 25 mg once daily, may increase to 50 mg after one week. May be adjusted by the physician up to a maximum of 200 mg daily. Take once daily, in the morning or evening, with or without food.

Side Effects: Common: nausea, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, loss of appetite, weight changes, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, sexual problems.

Precautions: Inform physician of liver problems, kidney disease, seizures, heart problems, or allergies. Use caution with alcohol. May increase suicidal thoughts, especially in young individuals. Inform physician if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not stop abruptly.

Storage: Do not store above 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
