Seronex 25

Presentation: Each tablet contains Sertraline Hydrochloride equivalent to Sertraline 25 mg.

Indications: Seronex is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

Dosage and Administration: The dosage is individualized and determined by the physician.

• Depression and OCD: Initial adult dose is 50 mg once daily.
• Panic Disorder, PTSD, and SAD: Initial adult dose is 25 mg once daily, may increase to 50 mg after one week.
• The usual maintenance dose is 50 to 200 mg daily.

Administer once daily, in the morning or evening, with or without food. Dosage adjustments should be made gradually as directed by the physician.

Side Effects: Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, loss of appetite, weight changes, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and sexual dysfunction.

Precautions: Exercise caution in patients with hepatic impairment, renal impairment, a history of seizures, cardiac disorders, or bleeding disorders. May increase the risk of suicidal ideation, especially in young adults. Use with caution with other serotonergic medications and MAO inhibitors. Inform the physician if pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
