Presentation: Tablets containing Calcium Orotate 740 mg. Available in strips of 10 tablets, manufactured by Ziska Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Indications: Used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in individuals who do not get enough calcium from their diet. May be used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, latent tetany, and as a supplement during pregnancy and lactation. Also has reported use in various inflammatory diseases and potentially in cognitive enhancement.

Dosage and Administration: Adults: 1-2 tablets daily with a meal or as directed by a physician.

Side Effects: Common side effect is bloating and swelling in the abdomen. Infrequent side effects may include loss of appetite, upset stomach, constipation, nausea, vomiting, unusual weight loss, increased thirst/urination, weakness, unusual tiredness, and formation of kidney stones.

Precautions: Contraindicated in conditions like incomplete or infrequent bowel movements, kidney stones, kidney disease, increased activity of the parathyroid gland, high amount of calcium in urine or blood, and extreme loss of body water. May interact with certain medications; consult a healthcare professional.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
