Nomi Nasal Spray contains Zolmitriptan as the active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of acute migraine with or without aura in adults. It is manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Each bottle of Nomi Nasal Spray contains 14 metered sprays, with each spray delivering 2.5 mg of Zolmitriptan .  

Dosage and Administration:

The usual dose for treating a migraine headache is one spray (2.5 mg) administered into one nostril. If the headache returns, a second spray may be used after 2 hours. Do not use more than two sprays in 24 hours. It is important to use Nomi Nasal Spray as early as possible after the onset of migraine pain but it is also effective when administered at a later stage of the attack.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Unusual sensations such as tingling, heat, heaviness, pressure or tightness in any part of the body including the chest or throat.
• Muscle weakness.  
• Drowsiness, dizziness, feeling tired.  
• Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth.  
• Sensitivity to touch, pain, heat and/or cold.

Precautions:

Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, or hemiplegic or basilar migraine. Nomi Nasal Spray should not be used by people with uncontrolled hypertension or certain types of heart problems.8 It should also not be used with certain other migraine medications.
