Mitaprex 15

Presentation: Tablets containing Mirtazapine 15 mg.

Indications: Treatment of major depressive disorder.

Dosage & Administration: The usual starting dose for adults is 15 mg once daily, preferably at bedtime. The dose may be increased gradually by the physician up to a maximum of 45 mg daily, depending on the patient's response. Follow physician's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common: increased appetite, weight gain, somnolence, sedation, dry mouth, dizziness. Less common: confusion, anxiety, insomnia. Rare: mania, seizures.

Precautions: Use caution in patients with a history of seizures, cardiovascular disease, hepatic or renal impairment, angle-closure glaucoma, and prostatic hypertrophy. Avoid abrupt discontinuation. May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
