Mirotiv 2.5 is a tablet containing 2.5 mg of Mirogabalin Besylate . It is manufactured by Renata Limited in Bangladesh.  

Indications:

Mirotiv (Mirogabalin Besylate) is indicated for the treatment of:

• Neuropathic Pain  
• Diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP)  
• Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN)  
• Peripheral neuropathic pain (PNP)  

Dosage and Administration:

The usual initial dose for adults is 5 mg twice daily. The dose is then gradually increased by 5 mg at intervals of at least one week, up to 15 mg twice daily. The dosage may be adjusted between 10 mg and 15 mg twice daily based on the patient's age and symptoms.

Side Effects:

The most commonly reported side effects include:

• Sleepiness (somnolence) 
• Dizziness 
• Swelling (edema) 
• Weight gain

Less common but potentially serious side effects include lightheadedness, confusion, loss of consciousness, general malaise, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and jaundice (signs of liver dysfunction).

Precautions:

Mirotiv may cause dizziness, sleepiness, or loss of consciousness. Patients should avoid operating dangerous machinery, including driving, until they know how the medicine affects them. Elderly patients should be monitored carefully due to an increased risk of falls and fractures. Weight gain may occur during treatment. Patients should inform their doctor if they experience blurred or double vision. Caution is advised in patients with kidney dysfunction, and dose adjustments may be necessary.
