Losita 10

Presentation: Each film-coated tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate USP equivalent to Escitalopram 10 mg. 

Indications: Treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder (SAD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Dosage & Administration: The usual starting dose for adults is 10 mg once daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response, with a maximum dose of 20 mg daily. For panic disorder, the initial dose may be 5 mg daily for the first week. Take once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common side effects include nausea, insomnia, ejaculation problems, drowsiness, increased sweating, and fatigue. Less common side effects may include decreased appetite, anxiety, restlessness, abnormal dreams, tremor, and changes in taste.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, heart problems (especially QT prolongation), a history of seizures or bleeding disorders, bipolar disorder, or glaucoma. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May increase the risk of suicidal thoughts, especially in children and young adults. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
