Presentation: Kytido 50 is available as film-coated tablets, each containing 50 mg of itopride hydrochloride.
Indications: Kytido is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal symptoms associated with chronic gastritis, such as:
Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose for oral use is 50 mg of itopride hydrochloride administered three times daily, before meals. The dose may be reduced according to the patient's age and symptoms, as determined by a physician.
Side Effects: The following side effects have been reported with the use of itopride hydrochloride:
Precautions: Kytido should be used with caution as it enhances the action of acetylcholine. It should not be used continuously for an extended period if no improvement in gastrointestinal symptoms is observed.

Shock and anaphylactoid reactions may occur, requiring close observation and immediate discontinuation of the drug if symptoms such as hypotension, dyspnea, larynx edema, urticaria, pallor, and diaphoresis occur.
Hepatic function disorder and jaundice with increased liver enzyme levels may occur, necessitating close observation, discontinuation of the drug, and appropriate therapeutic measures if abnormalities arise.
