✨ Elimate Plus Lotion (Permethrin & Crotamiton)

Elimate Plus is a combined parasiticidal and antipruritic (anti-itching) treatment. Permethrin kills scabies mites by paralyzing their nervous system, while Crotamiton helps eliminate the mites and provides rapid relief from intense itching.

📋 Indications

• Scabies: Treatment of mite infestations.

• Itching & Irritation: Relief from sunburn, dry eczema, allergic rashes, hives, chickenpox, insect bites, and heat rashes.

🥄 Dosage & Administration

Preparation: Ensure skin is clean, cool, and dry. Take a warm bath and dry well before application.

• Adults & Children (>2 years):

  • Apply from the neck down to the soles of the feet.

  • Pay special attention to finger/toe webs, wrists, armpits, and genitals.

  • Leave on for at least 8 hours before washing off.

  • Repeat daily (preferably evening) for 3–5 days.

• Babies (<2 years):

  • Apply to the face, neck, ears, and scalp as well (avoid eyes and mouth).

  • Do not apply more than once a day.

• Important: If you wash your hands during the 8-hour period, you must reapply the lotion to them.

⚠️ Safety & Precautions

• Side Effects: You may feel temporary burning, stinging, or tingling immediately after application.

• Steroid Warning: Stop using corticosteroid creams before starting this treatment, as they can make the infestation worse.

• Family Treatment: Because scabies is highly contagious, all family members should be treated simultaneously to prevent re-infection.

• Eye Safety: Avoid contact with eyes; rinse immediately with water if accidental contact occurs.

🤰 Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy: Not recommended, especially during the first trimester.

• Lactation: Avoid application near the nipples to prevent the infant from ingesting it.

• Store below 25°C in a dry, dark place.
