Cefpodoxime: A 3rd-generation cephalosporin active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Clavulanic Acid: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from inactivating Cefpodoxime.

Adults & Children (≥12 years):
Acute Bronchitis Exacerbation / Sinusitis: 1 tablet every 12 hours for 10 days.
Community-Acquired Pneumonia: 1 tablet every 12 hours for 14 days.
Pharyngitis / Tonsillitis: ½ tablet every 12 hours for 5–10 days.
Skin & Soft Tissue Infections: 2 tablets every 12 hours for 7–14 days.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI): ½ tablet every 12 hours for 7 days.
Uncomplicated Gonorrhea: Single dose.
Children (2 months to 12 years): $10\text{ mg/kg/day}$ divided into two doses (every 12 hours).
Contraindications: Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins.
Drug Interactions: Antacids and H2 blockers reduce peak Cefpodoxime absorption. Exercise caution if taking concurrent diuretics.
Side Effects: Generally well tolerated; common issues include diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
Pregnancy & Nursing: FDA Category B. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Cefpodoxime passes into breast milk; caution is advised.
