Co-Dopa 275

Presentation: Each tablet contains Levodopa 250 mg and Carbidopa 25 mg.

Indications: Treatment of Parkinson's disease and syndrome, particularly for rigidity and bradykinesia. May also help with tremor, dysphagia, sialorrhea, and postural instability.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage is individualized. Usual starting dose is half a tablet once or twice daily, may be gradually increased. Follow doctor's instructions. Can be taken with or without food, but avoid high-protein meals around dosing.

Side Effects: Common: nausea, involuntary movements, dyskinesia. Less common: dizziness, headache, abnormal dreams. Rare: hallucinations, confusion, depression, orthostatic hypotension.

Precautions: Inform doctor of heart, lung, liver, kidney, or endocrine problems, asthma, peptic ulcer history, or glaucoma. May interact with antihypertensives and some antidepressants. Avoid abrupt withdrawal. May cause drowsiness.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
