Presentation: Tablets containing Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate equivalent to Elemental Zinc (typically 20 mg) and Folic Acid (typically 5 mg). The tablets are intended for oral administration. Packaging usually consists of blister packs within a box.

Indications: Indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of Zinc and Folic Acid deficiencies. Zinc is essential for various bodily functions, including growth, immune function, and metabolism. Folic Acid is crucial for DNA synthesis and preventing neural tube defects during pregnancy, as well as treating megaloblastic anemia.

Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is one tablet daily or as recommended by a physician. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water.

Side Effects: This tablet is generally well-tolerated. Sometimes gastrointestinal disturbances like abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, or vomiting may occur.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of this tablet. Folic Acid is contraindicated in untreated cobalamin deficiency. Large amounts of calcium may decrease the absorption of Zinc; therefore, avoid concurrent administration.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
